SIX Japan in the West End

Divorced, Beheaded, Live in Japanese!
Following celebrated sold out seasons in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, members from the critically-acclaimed Japanese cast of SIX the Musical come to London, for one week only at the Vaudeville Theatre.
Original producers Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, and George Stiles, by special arrangement with Umeda Arts Theater, the producers of the Japanese production, will welcome the Japanese cast as they make their West End debuts, performing the same sensational show in Japanese with English captions.
The cast will be Sonim as ‘Aragon’, Meimi Tamura and Maho Minamoto alternating the role of ‘Boleyn’, Harumi as ‘Seymour’, Eliana and Marie Sugaya alternating the role of ‘Cleves’, Airi Suzuki and Erika Toyohara alternating the role of ‘Howard’, Sora Kazuki and Ruki Saito alternating the role of ‘Parr’. They will be joined by Aoi Tanaka as Musical Director.

Aragon
Born in Kochi, Japan. Debuted as a singer in 2000 and has been active as an actress since appearing in a drama in 2003. Recipient of the 41st Kikuta Kazuo Theatre Award and the 26th Yomiuri Theatre Awards for Best Actress. Japanese voice of Matangi, a mysterious woman pivotal to the story in Disney’s animated film Moana 2.

Meimi Tamura
Boleyn
Born in Gunma, Japan. From 2011 to 2016, was a core member of the group S/mileage, known for their strong vocals and expressive performances. Made her solo debut in 2018. Alongside her career as a stage performer and singer, she writes columns for Japanese newspapers and develops her own written and directed stage works.

Maho Minamoto
Boleyn
Born in Hiroshima, Japan. Debuted in the musical Annie in 1996 and played the title role in 2001. Has worked across stage and television.

Harumi
Seymour
Born in the Philippines. Half Japanese, half Filipino. Began singing in choir at age 3 and moved to Japan at 13 without knowing Japanese. Struggling with the language, she found her voice as an artist who expresses herself through song. Debuted with Sony Music in 2020 with the single Pride. Made stage debut as Mimi in RENT.

Eliana
Cleves
Born in Tokyo, Japan. Born to a Brazilian father and Japanese mother. Appeared on stage with Michael Jackson at age 7, which inspired her to pursue music. Debuted in 2003 produced by DJ KAORI. Known for anime and commercial songs including “ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn” from Attack on Titan. Debuted on stage at 16.

Marie Sugaya
Cleves
Born in Tokyo, Japan. A multi-talented performer with strong vocal and dance abilities. Also works as a voice trainer, choreographer, graphic designer, and marine sports instructor. Stage debut as Gigi in Miss Saigon while in her university education.

Airi Suzuki
Howard
Born in Chiba, Japan. Joined Japanese idol group ℃-ute in 2005 and Buono! in 2007. Captivating audiences worldwide with their commanding stage presence. Launched solo career with the album Do me a favor in 2018. Active as a singer, model, actress, and MC.
Screen credits include: Oshi Became the Boss(TV TOKYO), ANIMALS(abema)

Erika Toyohara
Howard
Born in the Dominican Republic. Debuted as Annie in the musical Annie in 2008. Studied in New York and is active mainly on stage. Provided the Japanese voice of Ariel in Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid.
Theatre credits include: Peter & The Starcatcher, Soho Cinders, The Fantasticks, The Beautiful Game, The Blissful Island, IN THE HEIGHTS, Groundhog Day

Sora Kazuki
Parr
Born in Okayama, Japan. Joined the all-female Takarazuka Revue in 2010 and was active as a cast member specializing in male roles on stage. Appeared in Elisabeth, played Buck Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde, and starred in numerous original musicals and revue shows. In addition to male roles, also portrayed female characters such as Anita in West Side Story (2018) and Lily in Anastasia (2020). Left Takarazuka in 2024 and has since appeared in productions including 9 to 5 and SPY×FAMILY.

Ruki Saito
Parr
Born in Saitama, Japan. Enrolled as a first-term student at Watanabe Musical Art Academy in 2019 and has since been active mainly in stage work. Japanese voice of Mirabel in Disney’s animated film Encanto.

Toby Marlow
Writer
Toby is the other half of Marlow and Moss, the writing duo behind the musical SIX, alongside Lucy Moss. For SIX, the duo won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Score, two Drama Desk Awards, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and they received a Grammy nomination for the album SIX: Live on Opening Night. Toby’s other writing and composing credits include: Why Am I So Single? (West End); Hot Gay Time Machine (West End); Book of Queer (discovery+); The Monkey King (Netflix); Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?! (Off-Broadway, Soho Theatre); The 75th Annual Tony Awards (CBS); Dylan Mulvaney’s Day 365 LIVE! (The Rainbow Room); Courtney Act: Fluid (international tour) and Kyle Hanagami’s Stay Inside. Toby also writes pop music, collaborating with artists such as Jinkx Monsoon (The Virgo Odyssey), and Alaska Thunder**** (ROY G BIV).

Lucy Moss
Writer & Director
Lucy is a Tony Award-winning writer and the youngest woman ever to direct a musical on Broadway (lol). Alongside her co-writer/friend, Toby Marlow, she won a Tony, two Drama Desks, and an Outer Critics Circle Award for their music and lyrics in the musical SIX (Broadway, West End, various other cool places). Their album SIX: Live on Opening Night was also nominated for a Grammy. She was ALSO nominated for best director of a musical at the Tony’s for her co-direction of SIX. Okay enough about SIX. Other writer-director credits include: Why Am I So Single? (West End) and Hot Gay Time Machine (West End). Her directing credits include: Legally Blonde (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre); Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical (Actors’ Fund Online Benefit). Her song-writing credits include: The Monkey King (Netflix); Dylan Mulvaney’s Day 365 LIVE!; Book of Queer (discovery+); The 75th Annual Tony Awards (CBS). She loves to kayak.
