@sohoplace

@sohoplace is the first new-build West End theatre in 50 years and the culmination of a 12-year project, owned by Nica Burns and operated by Nimax Theatres. Designed in collaboration with some of the UK’s best theatre makers who asked for an intimate space yet with a sense of scale, perfect acoustics and great sightlines.
The theatre is adjacent to the site of the old Astoria theatre which was demolished to build the Elizabeth line. The theatre @sohoplace is at the heart of property giant Derwent London’s visionary £300 million regeneration of a neglected corner of Soho. Totalling 285,000 square feet it is a mixed development with the theatre at its heart, offices and retail and a fantastic new piazza, an ideal meeting place for Londoners to start their day or night out in the West End.
You’ll find @sohoplace on Soho Place, the first new street name in Soho for 72 years.
The theatre is directly above Tottenham Court Road station for the Northern, Central and Elizabeth lines. If you’re coming on foot, the theatre is close to the junction of Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road. If you’re being dropped off, head for Sutton Row (off Soho Square). Soho Place itself is pedestrianised, but Sutton Row is only metres from the front door.
